Straight Talk With Undergraduates Foundation (STUF) is a youth-focused nonprofit initiative founded in Nigeria. We exist to inspire, empower and provide sustainable solutions for undergraduates and recent graduates across Africa — because every one of them deserves access to opportunities, mentorship and a support system that lets them thrive academically, professionally and personally.
To inspire and empower undergraduates and recent graduates by providing mentorship, skills development and solution-driven engagements that prepare them for excellence in academics, career and life.
To become the number one solution provider to undergraduates and recent graduates in Africa — building a generation of resilient, resourceful and globally competitive leaders.
Organise free workshops, seminars and conferences that equip students and graduates with relevant skills and knowledge.
Create a safe space where undergraduates can seek guidance, share struggles and receive mentorship.
Connect helpful brands, organisations and opportunities directly with students and graduates.
Establish fellowship and mentorship programmes that guide freshers and graduates through their academic and career journeys.
Set up clubs across African institutions as hubs for solution provision, leadership training and communication skills development.
Share inspiring stories of resilience and wins that motivate undergraduates and recent graduates through blogs and videos.
Guidance, mentorship and opportunities from their first year until graduation.
Support for the transition from campus to career through mentorship, training and networking.
In 2021, as a year-two student at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, our founder launched the inaugural "Straight Talk With Freshers" — a spontaneous, three-day WhatsApp series with friends sharing their own campus experiences. The feedback was overwhelming, and the idea kept growing: Straight Talk Live Sessions, the Freshers Fellowship Programme, Campus Straight Talk Clubs, and now the Graduate Circle.
